Accessory Help

Paint colour is part of your shed’s customisation and isn’t sold separately. You don’t have to finalise your choice right away - we’ll confirm colour preferences after your order is placed. If you select the wrong shade or change your mind, just let us know - we’ll adjust it. Each Cosy Shed is professionally painted using high-quality primer and opaque paint or a translucent dark oiled finish. From full finishes on most Luxury models to door and window accents on all Premium designs and the Luxury Traditional shed, your shed will be finished with care, character, and lasting durability. You’ll receive any leftover paint or oil to help with future shedscaping. We’ll also let you know where to find more if needed!

Expertly Painted - Beautifully Finished

Most Cosy Sheds are hand-painted in full or in part depending upon the design - using a professional-grade system for exceptional durability and depth of finish. We start with Zinsser Bullseye 1-2-3 Plus primer renowned for its stain-blocking properties, followed by three coats of Johnstone’s Gori 99 Extreme Opaque paint - a premium, weather-resistant formula designed to protect exterior timber for years to come.

Timeless Tones

When we use Tanalised cladding - as seen on our Luxury Traditional design and across our entire range of Premium Cosy Sheds - the main body of the shed is left in its natural treated finish, ready to age gracefully, while the doors and windows are hand-painted in painted in Cotton Cream - a clean, classic off-white matched to Farrow & Ball Wimborne White, that pairs beautifully with our tanalised cladding as it weathers - from its fresh green treatment to warm honey brown and eventually a soft silver-grey. To make these sheds in your name, you can swap out the Cotton Cream off-white to a colour from our range of nine carefully mixed paints, inspired by F&B shades and RAL colour matches. These finishes are applied to the door and window accents to give your shed a subtle, refined twist when paired against the treated cladding.
