The listed price includes both the treatment product itself and professional application by The Cosy Shed Co. during the shed manufacturing process. Any remaining treatment oil will be supplied with your shed for future maintenance and touch-ups where applicable.

OSMO Decking Oil helps create a water-resistant protective finish for tanalised Weatherboard and Tanalised Shiplap cladding, supporting long-term timber performance and reducing moisture absorption over time.

OSMO UV Protection Oil is designed for Cedar Shingle roofs and helps nourish the timber while slowing the natural silvering process caused by prolonged UV exposure.

Long-Term Protection

When using tanalised timber cladding and Cedar Shingle roofing, thoughtful protection and maintenance helps preserve both the appearance and long-term durability of your shed as it naturally weathers outdoors.

OSMO Decking Oil is recommended for tanalised timber finishes, including the Weatherboard and Shiplap cladding used across a number of our shed designs. While tanalised timber is pressure treated to resist rot, insects, and fungal decay, the Decking Oil helps create a water-resistant protective finish that reduces moisture absorption and supports long-term timber performance. As the timber naturally matures from its fresh treated tone through warm honey browns and eventually towards a softer silver-grey finish, the oil helps nourish and stabilise the surface over time.

OSMO UV Protection Oil is recommended for Cedar Shingle roofs. Cedar is an exceptionally durable natural timber, however prolonged UV exposure gradually causes the shingles to silver and dry over time. The UV Protection Oil helps nourish the timber while slowing the natural weathering process and maintaining richer tones for longer.

Both treatment options have been carefully selected to complement the natural materials and timeless finishes used across the Cosy Shed range.
